About Me

Hi, and welcome! I’m Kristen Molloy, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Molloy Counseling & Wellness. I’ve always had a deep passion for mental health advocacy and know firsthand the power of a supportive therapeutic relationship. That experience has shaped the way I show up for my clients—with compassion, authenticity, and a genuine desire to help you feel seen and supported.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life, supporting them through challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and personalized. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy—meeting you where you are and working together to create meaningful, lasting change.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, relaxing with a good cup of coffee, and hanging out with my dog. I truly believe that everyone deserves a space to feel understood and empowered, and I’m honored to create that space for the clients I work with.
